Take 5 Oil Change was founded in the early 1980s by Monty Montgomery in Louisiana. When Driven Brands, backed by Roark Capital, bought Take 5 in 2015, there were about 65 locations of the quick-lube chain. Besides oil changes, they offer various services such as fluid top-offs, air filter replacements, wiper blade replacements and tire rotations.
One of their key features is the no-appointment-needed policy, allowing customers to drive in and get their vehicle serviced quickly.
