Chili's is a full-service restaurant chain that serves a wide variety of American and Tex-Mex cuisine, such as burgers, ribs and fajitas. The company is owned by Brinker International, which also operates Italian restaurant brand Maggiano’s as well as virtual brands It’s Just Wings and Maggiano’s Italian Classics—both of which operate out of Chili’s kitchens.
Founded in 1975 in Dallas, Texas, by Larry Lavine, the first Chili’s was a burger shack with only 25 menu items. The brand now has more than 1,500 locations in the U.S.
